Infrared Radiant Heaters Heat up Objects instead of the Air
During the past decade, traditional forced air unit heaters have taken a back seat to infrared heaters. Heaters have gradually evolved into various types to meet different needs. The earth is becoming colder, and here comes a huge demand on heaters for home, garages, warehouses or construction sites. Energy efficient heaters are the most ideal heaters in our mind. Among several types of heaters, radiant heaters are one of the favorite heaters people like. Then what is it? What is so special? How does it work? Here is a simple introduction.
Generally speaking, radiant heaters generate heat with the help of infrared waves. By utilizing the technology of long wave electromagnetic energy, infrared radiant heaters bring warmth to people and objects which could absorb the radiation at a certain wavelength and then in turn heats the surrounding air to desired temperature. Different from traditional gas heaters, radiant heaters do not directly warm up the air.
The distinctive operation principle directly determines its special function. Firstly, people do not have to worry about carbon monoxide poisoning. Secondly, infrared radiant heaters achieve ultimate comfort levels. Since they heat objects such as floors and chairs, we could sit on them with no chill at all. How fantastic! Thirdly, the operation is totally quiet, clean, and odor-free. Fourthly, with an adjustable thermostat, people can control the warmth simply with a few button presses. Last but not least, radiant heaters are quite effective and efficient, so people do not need worry of having a huge list of electricity or gas bill.
Infrared radiant heaters are mainly divided into two types: the stand and swivel type and the wall mounted type. In fact, since most of heaters have delicate or even stylish designs, they also act as a decoration in a way.
